Posted: Sept. 12, 2007 Strip Club in SoRo? - Get the latest sample protest letters It has come to our attention an adult cabaret and strip club is being built at 3384 and 3388 S. Robertson Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90034. We understand
that a Request for Hearing and Petition letter is being circulated by concerned parents, residents, homeowners and businesses owners.
The purpose of the letter is to ask the L.A. Police Commission to not issue this
business a Cafe and Show Entertainment Permit; and to request a public hearing to learn more about the planned operation of this business which has been evasive and not willing to meet with community leaders.
We encourage open meetings, public hearings and dialogue between all merchants and residents in and near South Robertson.
If you would like to read what the buzz is about, please download the letter. If you agree with it, feel free to modify it or use as is, get signatures of your own, and mail it to the L.A. Police Commission.
This is a time sensitive issue. Act today! The L.A. Police Commission to get your letters and/or petitions. They do not accept fax. It must be mailed or hand-delivered. Thank you.

2006 July 2006 News TWO GANG-RELATED TRAGEDIES STRIKE SORO Tuesday, July 11, 2006
- - Anna Interiano, 16, was shot and killed about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday as she walked with friends in an alley in the 8900 block of Cadillac Avenue.
Thursday, July 13 -- Late Thursday, two young Latino males (identity
unknown at this time) were shot to death at Cadillac and South Garth Avenues, mere blocks from Tuesday's shooting. The latest shootings, which appeared to be gang-related, occurred at about 8:15 p.m. as Mayor Antonio
Villaraigosa attended a nearby vigil for Ana, police said.
In response to the recent tragedies within our community, SORO NC will hold an informal community discussion and vigil tonight. The discussion will
begin at around 6pm at the Palms Fellowship Hall - 2908 Robertson Place. The vigil will commence at 7pm on the front lawn of the fellowship hall.
I know this is short notice, but I hope many of you can attend. Tonight's discussion will be very informal and no formal action will be taken by the
SORO NC Board. The key for the board and the community will be to come away with a solid ideas for SORO NC and its partners to act upon within the next couple weeks. Representatives from our council district offices, the LAPD,
and the Mayor's West LA Office will be in attendance.
